Hello, I'm David Lawrenson, author of the UK's top selling book on property and an expert on buy to let. I'm also a speaker and media commentator on property as an investment, a blogger and consultant on all landlord, property letting and buy to let issues in the private rented sector.

Letting Focus In the Media

I'm a frequent and outspoken property commentator and property speaker in the press, on TV and for companies and trade associations. Recognised as a scourge of the fraudsters operating in the mainly unregulated buy to let and property investing business, I first warned of the problems that oversupplied new build flats experienced in 1998. I have critiqued government policy towards the letting sector and the poor lending activities of mortgage companies in the buy to let sector. I am also critical of many of the "Get Rich Quick in Property" courses.
