1. Corporate Property Consulting

These days I do a lot of consultancy work for financial service companies, local authorities and property websites.

For banks and building societies, I have helped with the design, strategy and training issues around their buy to let mortgage products.

For local authorities and social housing providers I help them make a better job of finding and retaining landlords wishing to let to people on their housing waiting lists.

For property related websites I write content and comment for their sites.

As a former internal management consultant in the financial services industry I'm well qualified to undertake such projects.

2. Private Consulting and Seminars

As author of Britain's top selling book on property letting, investment and buy to let, my property education, speaking, training & one to one consultancy service for private landlords is in strong demand.

LettingFocus.com is different & unique because unlike many advisors we have no links at all to property developers or real estate agents.

This means that at our property training and networking evenings, seminars, talks and in my one to one consultancy for private investors and landlords, I simply explain the real facts about buy to let, renting out property and residential property investment - the good and the bad - with no bias at all!

At many property investment and landlord seminars, the "property expert reports" are really just developers or agents brochures designed to "talk up" a development in order to get the investor to part with their money on the seminar giver's own developments.

Big profits are made by such companies by charging big fees to customers for supposedly having an "inside track" on these property deals.

But the reality is that many novice landlords are persuaded to buy into properties that are oversupplied, hard to sell on (no exit strategy) or rent out to tenants at anywhere near the level that the investors were promised.

No Bias

At LettingFocus.com, no attempt is made to sell real estate investments to you (though we can as part of our independent consultancy service help you search for and find good areas and properties which you should invest in.)

And as we don't sell property you can be sure that our advice is independent and unbiased.

One to One Consulting

In addition to the property seminars and networking sessions, I also run a private property training, mentoring, coaching and consulting service where I provide one to one (or one to two!) advice for landlords and property investors.

The service is dedicated to helping you make money in property.

This is tailored around your needs and can take place at your home if you wish - or done over the phone if distance is a problem. Thus it can often be done more quickly and in a more direct way than in a property seminar, ensuring that I only cover what you need to know.

People often ask me to evaluate a potential property investment, give advice on good locations and types of property to invest in and to rent out - but my advice can cover the whole range of property investment and letting issues.
